Cashier/Awards Attendant

The Colosseum Grappling Cashier will be the point of contact for spectators entering the event so this person is critical in creating a first impression.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet spectator's entering the event
  • Enters price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins.
  • Discounts purchases by redeeming coupons.
  • Collects payments by accepting cash, or charge payments from spectators; making change for cash spectators as needed.
  • Scan competitors id cards using a scanner or computer camera.
  • Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners
  • Give out competitor payouts.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

The individuals for this position should have at least 2 years experience in cashiering and/or working with computers, scanners, and mobile device scanner.

Floaters

Registration check-in Attendant/Floaters/Weight-in Attendant/Bracketing Attendant/Mat Attendant

Individuals in these positions will have may "hats" so to speak. The ideal person for this position will be someone that is willing to wear those "hats" and step in to help out when needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet competitor's entering the event
  • Scan competitors id cards using a scanner or computer camera.
  • Answer questions from
  • Direct competitor's to next location
  • Apply entrance wrist band after check-in
  • Provide competitor with bracketing information
  • Help competitors find mats / bracketing info
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

The individuals for this position should have at least 2 years experience in customer service and/or working with computers, scanners, and mobile device scanners.

Mat Attendant

Individuals in these positions will be.

Job Responsibilities

  • Scan competitors into mat
  • Verify competitors via competitor ID's
  • Start and Stop matches
  • Call competitors who are not in mat area
  • Enter in submission after match is completed
  • Close out division once division is done
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

The individuals for this position should have at least 2 years experience in customer service and/or working with computers, scanners, and mobile device scanners.
